Snowcation
The perfect staycation:
-school and work cancelled all week
-snowmobiles zooming up our street as if we were at Grandpa's cabin
-sledding in our own yard
-building a snowman in the front yard, which Alex promptly destroyed with Martial Arts kicks, so that it had to be reconstructed
-genteel snowball fights
-whatever takeout we felt like buying (and could drive to, and that wasn't closed because of snow), including a Hoffman's chocolate raspberry cake and Maggiano's Italian food (courtesy of my sister the day before snow cut her off from us)
-playing Ticket to Ride with the kids
-internet going down for 24 hours so that we HAD to talk to each other!

On your face
Laramie: "Rebecca, you have a milk mustache! Do I have a milk mustache?"
Rebecca: "No, you just have a mustache."
Rebecca: "No, you just have a mustache."

She doesn't know the name, but she knows what she likes
In Rebecca language
Salted cashews: "nuts that bend" (as opposed to unsalted almond slivers)
Sausage slices in lentil soup: "big round things"
