Precocious?

I'm impressed that I just found my 5-year-old on the couch reading our antique copy of Plato's Dialogs. I would be even more impressed if she could actually read.

I hoped that becoming an author would make me feel famous. But it turns out that my 1-month-old baby gets WAY more adoring attention in public than I do. I should dress her only in shirts that say "Ask me about Candy Experiments!"
