Becca gazes out the car window at the streaky white clouds breaking to show slivers of blue. "It looks like someone painted the sky!"

And then, staring directly up, "It looks like there is snow on top of us!"

Alex: My brain told me how to do it!

The prodigy

Just found my four-year-old cutting her nails. Even more surprising? No blood!

On the real reason she was snuggled in bed this afternoon

Pizza and Movie Night at the Leavitts

meant homemade pizza with Netflix documentaries about the library of Alexandria, followed by the history of the number one.  Such fun!

Begging

I'm so indulgent, I bought the grocery store treat my 4 year old was begging for--celery.
